Boffi Georgetown and HOME & DESIGN Magazine celebrate Italian design, the one-year anniversary
of the Boffi Georgetown showroom and latest designs in kitchen, bath and wardrobe systems with Mr Paolo Boffi.

Washington, D.C. celebrates the wonder of architecture in our international city with a series of special events and programs designed to bring the design community closer together. On Friday, September 16, Boffi Georgetown celebrates its one year anniversary with a cocktail reception to reveal the new “Bath and Wardrobe” concepts, welcoming clients and colleagues to the newly refreshed showroom.

Boffi Georgetown partnered with Boxwood Winery, based in Middleburg, Virginia, for an illustrated lecture and conversation with the Winery’s proprietor, Executive Vice President Rachel Martin, and Jacobsen Architecture’s Hugh Newell Jacobsen, his son Simon. Jacobsen Architecture had been elected to design the award-winning Boxwood Winery in 2008. The trio spoke in front of a group of 30 local architects and designers, and reviewed the process of collaboration and lifestyle considerations encompassing the design project.

Boffi Georgetown hosted the hospitality suite for the longest enduring house tour in the country, which this year showcased 12 of Georgetown’s most interesting properties. Boffi exhibited the history of the tour, including vintage news clippings, photographs and entertaining concepts. Refreshments were provided by 42 Catering.

Members of the Citizens Association of Georgetown, alongside community neighbors, gathered at Boffi Georgetown to enjoy a private menu sampling dishes and cocktails from six local chefs and restaurants.

Boffi Georgetown and the Washington Chapter of the AIA partnered to present a special illustrated lecture with Boffi Art Director, Piero Lissoni, marking the grand opening of Boffi’s newest showroom. In conjunction with Architecture Week, over 140 VIP guests, including architects, designers and representatives of the Italian Embassy attended, and enjoyed Piero’s wit, insight, and personal introduction to Boffi’s newly installed standout designs.
